NGAOK Community Partner Application

Dear Oklahoma Business Owners and Managers,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tracy Spencer and I am the Incoming President of the National Guard Association of Oklahoma (NGAOK). I am writing to ask for your support of a new program that we have introduced at the NGAOK. This program, a community partnering program between the NGAOK and local businesses, is called “Membership Has Value” and is designed to offer free advertising for those businesses that agree to provide enticements to our membership (free or discounted products or services). This partnership is designed to be advantageous for both the NGAOK and the business.

Before I get further into the details of this partnership offer, I would like to tell you a little about the National Guard Association of Oklahoma. We are an Oklahoma registered and IRS recognized 501(c)19 Not-for-Profit Veterans Service Organization . We are dedicated to promoting the status, welfare and professionalism of the 10,000 officer and enlisted members of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard by supporting legislation that provides adequate staffing, pay benefits, entitlements, equipment and installations.

Recently, the Oklahoma National Guard has received a lot of publicity related to the mobilization and deployment of over 3,300 National Guardsmen to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Perhaps you even know someone who has been called-up as part of this mobilization, or are already aware that this call-up of National Guard forces in Oklahoma ranks as the single largest mobilization of Guard Soldiers and Airmen since World War II. While these service members prepare for their deployment, we at the NGAOK want to do something to help these guardsmen and their families.

This is where your business comes into the picture.  By partnering with the NGAOK, you will provide a way for our members and their families to save money on goods and services. In exchange for your generosity, your business gets exposed to thousands of potential new customers. It’s a win-win proposition for everyone involved. All that we ask is that you honor your offered discount to our members who present a valid NGAOK Membership Card. The partnership shall remain in effect for a period of one year from the date your application is received. We will then include your business name, address and your offered discount on our website at www.ngaok.org/benefits/

Thank you for taking the time to consider our community partnership offer and for your continued support of the Oklahoma National Guard. For more information about the NGAOK, please contact us at 405-475-2152 or visit us online at www.ngaok.org .

Sincerely,
Tracy D. Spencer
