Mike is a 1SG and has been a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard for over 21 years.  He is a fourth generation Oklahoma Guardsman.  He was a traditional Soldier for over 11 years before coming on AGR.  He has served at HQ 45^th FiB, HQ 171 FA, C BTRY 171 FA and is the 1SG for A CO 271 BSB.

Mike was voted in as the 45^th FiB Enlisted Rep in 2004 and served in the position for 2 terms.  After which he was the Membership Committee chairperson for one year.  He was deployed in 2008-2009.  While he was deployed he was voted back in as the 45^th FiB Enlisted Rep position until being elected as the 2^nd Vice President for NGAOK.
